Nestriq.
Nestriq is a page builder for your own life. You make pages out of blocks, and a page holds whatever you need it to hold that week.
What it is
An iOS app made of blocks. Checklists, text, counters, timers, tables. You stack them into a page, and the page becomes a meal plan, a workout, a journal, a shopping list, a budget, whatever you needed it to be.
Save a page you like and it turns into your own template. You can start blank, start from a template, or paste in a wall of messy notes and let the app sort them into a page for you.
Why I made it
I built a system in Notion once. It took a weekend and it looked great. By week three I had stopped opening it, because keeping it up to date from a phone on a bus was miserable.
The idea held up fine. The problem was the assumption underneath it, which was that I'd be sitting at a desk with a mouse. I'm usually not. So I rebuilt the same idea for one thumb.
How I made it
SwiftUI. Five months. Around fifty thousand lines. One person, no co-founder, no designer, no roadmap beyond a note inside the app itself.
I rebuilt the block editor three times before it felt right on a small screen. Dragging a block with a thumb while the keyboard is open is a much harder problem than it sounds, and it is the part nobody warns you about.
What I learned
Building it took five months. Getting anyone to look at it is taking longer.
I can ship a feature in an evening and still have no idea how to write one sentence that makes a stranger download it. I'm learning that part in public, and badly.
